I had the extreme pleasure of hearing from my friends (Andres & Blas) at the Melgarejo estate from Jaen Spain this weekend at the UCD Olive Oil Sensory Evaluation Class. Melgarejo has won the 2018 Mario Solinas Award for Intense Green Fruitiness in their 2017 Harvest Hojiblanca (available in our stores now). This is one of the most coveted awards in the olive oil world. Congratulations!
